Fastest Ladies on the planet.
Fastest Men on the same planet.
Monday. It has been a week? Simon and Phil are already at the airport, all leftover food has been packaged into yummy burritos ready for gourmet dining at 33K feet, the house has been cleaned, and I have time for one last post and a pair of hill repeats. Then it's off to Kona International and homeward bound.
Here are several shots of last nights awards banquet. Some very motivational moments and enough inspiration to last at least through the winter. Another first for the RCVman vast blogging audience (VBA) in the following IMPSA (Ironman public service announcement):
The top five finishers on stage last night in my NEW age group came in between 11:00 and 11:20. You know what THAT means! They represent the fastest long course triathletes on this planet. VBA will immediately recognize that time as significantly slower than my target goal for Ironman Canada, the qualifier to race HERE in 363 days. So here is the boldness in frontpage large type:
RCVman's 11:00 in Kona is top five!!!!!
You heard it here first.
Gotta pack bags, hoping to have enough room for a dozen burritos.
Aloha.
