Here is the official "unauthorized" Washington DC Urban Time Trial course. As you can see what it lacks in elevation gain/loss it more than compensates for with scenery, history and points of interest.
Starts at The Marriot and heads past the Zoo on Connecticut to Dupont Circle, down New Hampshire to Washington Circle, through Foggy Bottom to the Lincoln Memorial and Tidal Basin, past reflecting pool and National Mall to Smithsonian Row. It get's better. On Independence Ave past US Capitol Complex, Botanical Gardens and Library of Congress. Whew. All that in only six miles. We go left on Second to US1 and back to Constitution to 17th and past Farragut Square, into President's Park and The Ellipse and then onto Constitution Ave. and back thru Dupont Circle to the waiting arms of the Marriot and the finish. 11.18 miles. More history than you shake a spoke at and if we're lucky we won't get chased by any undercover secret service types on Cervelos, although that might go for some good video! We are going to spend an afternoon shooting stills of the aforementioned sites (and many others too numerous to name) to add them to the video as a bonus travelogue-esque feature. In the video biz we call them cutaways. You are sure to like.
After a successful shoot (I am thinking positive) we'll return with yet another great training ride for you in the CompuTrainer Multi-Rider Center at the Bainbridge Athletic Club. This will be TT number six, following:
Tour of California TT (LA)
Mount Hood Cycling Classic Oregon
Mount Hood Cycling Classic Washington
Nature Valley Criterium Minnesota
Seattle Urban TT
Mac2Mac TT
All for now. One HoM HIT spin session in the books and one more to go tonight at 1830. Please remember that soon we will be featuring downloadable sessions (filmed spins) to when I say, please join us, it won't matter where you are to do so.
You could even live in the White House.

Hey Kev great class this am. I'm curious about the filmed sessions and also whether you plan to livecast classes too so one could ride along remotely in real time.
The master plan calls for two stages:
1) Shoot classes, sessions, time trials and rides to convert to downloadable training rides. End user uses at his/her convenience and is repeatable.
2) Live internet racing via Google/Skype. If number two is successful we could roll out into something like BAC.tv and go live with our classes. This issue is not so much technology as it is licensing. The music is a deal breaker.
Certainly there are challenges, but I think we can create a product of value and with enough International demand to warrant time/effort/money to get up and running. Your thoughts?
Hey Kev,
Can you shoot me Bob's email? Trying to coordinate with him and Sunday's run! Thanks :)
