Final installment from the New York City Triathlon, the highlight video. Hope you like it. I am out tomorrow for the sold-out inaugural Calgary 70.3. The only comment I will make about the vid is this: You need to PAY ATTENTION when on the bike. Watch and I think you'll see what I mean. Next update from Alberta.

I agree, when Sam runs into my road tire with his balloon tire while going around Lake Coeur d Alene it is time to start paying attention.
OK, that first comment was before I watched the film. What a great film and soundtrack! (in my opinion) Felt like I was there w/o the bother of putting up with NY traffic. And, the crash. I think that guy must have planned that...good job of acting though. But my personal favorite is this new angle of chatting up the female spectators. Nice job. Calgary should look so good!
Good to hear from EJ and Sam, who have been logging some serious miles in several Western and Upper Midwestern states. NYC traffic is one of the reasons we wanted to capture this course, as it is only open to cyclists one day a year, meaning we have a built-it promotion. As for the guy running up the wheel of that poor young gal, that was the 'attention' issue I mentioned in the intro. Interesting if you look at it closely, a fast guy passes and he thinks about going with him for a nanosecond, reconsiders because he would be drafting and then when he returns to 'reality' there is the girl! Lucky there was the grassy knoll (no conspiracy) to soften his fall. I think one of the fans is Juliette Lewis of Hollywood fame btw. Thanks for your comments and enjoy the last leg home.
Only in NY. You have to look at this more than once to get some of the sights there. Actually, I think getting anyone to talk on the film provides dimension. The Chinese woman's cheer was pretty interesting. I would have liked to hear what all those police officers were thinking. classic. Finally, I don't think that is Juliette Lewis! I think she is in Calgary.
I like the guy in the balcony and the closeups at the finish. I will look for Ms Lewis in Canada (just got to Sea-Tac via train). Cheers
I liked how you integrated the quintessential NY elements. The guy in the TT helmet looked like he was on fumes and had lousy road awareness. Adding the spectator comments was a real positive. Nicely done.
I am just glad one of those beautiful girls wasn't the GF of the dumbass with the areo helmet. I still haven't figured out what the Asian gal said, but she said it with so much energy.... But Hey, that's New York!!!! Nobody has mentioned my resurrection of a classic Sly tune, what gives?
I said 'sound track' which of course referenced that feel good song of the century by Sly which you used with the cute kids sliding through the hydrant water. Great stuff.
I think the Chinese woman said that she was rooting for her husband but that she would ditch him and her sign if you wanted.
Good, cause I thought she said that I should ditch the camera before she shoved the sign up my aperture.
